Erica (ERN) (she/they)

An image of an anthropomorphic cartoon cat cropped from what seems to be a Richard Scarry children's book. She is sitting wearing a reddish dress with a frilled collar and sitting a desk in a green chair with large stack of books in the foreground.

Erica "ERN" Rivera (she/they) is a performance writer, editor, and multimedia artist. She previously served as co-editor for Art, Strike!, an online art/literary publication founded on the principles of mutual aid. She is the author of The Ecology of Art, Strike! (tRaum Books, 2025), her forthcoming debut collection of essays. It doubles as an "anti-publishing manifesto," and a speculative memoir-in-essays. It also introduces a new genre of writing called "autofabulation," a combination of introspective, archival, anticolonial, and speculative writing, deeply indebted to the work of Saidiya Hartman, as well as a form of autofabulation, "incarnations," that seeks to undermine existing infrastructures of "copyright"/"intellectual property."
