tante studied Computer Science and Philosophy and works on the conceptualization, implementation and testing of new technologies as Research Director in a studio for spatial new media. As freelance consultant, writer, theorist and speaker he focuses on issues at the intersection of technology, society and politics. He’s a founding member of the interdisciplinary Otherwise Network, which connects experts from different domains as a platform working on the changes that digital technologies have brought. He writes for many German and international publications (DER SPIEGEL, VICE, DIE ZEIT among others) and advises NGOs, political parties as well as the German parliament. He is a luddite.
