Brett is a technologist working at the intersection of human rights and technology, particularly in the areas of privacy and Internet decentralisation.
Brett started life in Australia, running a software development business, before moving to Scotland in 2001. For the past 20 years Brett has been working with, supporting and developing Free and Open Source software. After moving with his wife to France, in 2016 Brett founded the Librecast Project to work on building the Next Generation Internet with multicast.
Brett is concerned that our Internet is under threat from Criminals, Corporations and Governments alike, and is trying to do something about it. If you are too, he'd love to hear from you.
